Allurion Technologies develops a medical device for weight loss that can be delivered and removed without surgery or endoscopy. The Company's flagship product—the Elipse Balloon— is a swallowed and excreted intragastric balloon. It works by filling the stomach, slowing digestion, and teaching portion control. Patients swallow it during a brief office visit and – months later – pass it into the toilet.
