ALKIM produces and distributes chemical materials in Turkey and internationally. It operates through three segments: chemical products, paper, and other. The Company offers sodium sulphate for use in detergent, glass, pulp and paper, textile, and chemical industries. It also provides salts for use in food, textile, leather, chemistry, health, water regeneration, and animal feed industries. In addition its products include leonite, a fertilizer, and magnesium compounds, such as magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate.
