Albemarle is a developer, manufacturer, and marketer of highly-engineered specialty chemicals. It operates through three segments: Energy Storage, Specialties, and Ketjen. The Energy Storage segment develops and manufactures a range of basic lithium compounds, including lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide, and lithium chloride. The Specialties segment offers bromine and highly specialized lithium solutions. The Ketjen segment provides hydroprocessing, isomerization, alkylation, fluidized catalytic cracking catalysts and additives, etc.
