Aksa Akrilik, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells textiles, chemicals, and other industrial products. It operates through three segments: Fibers, Energy, and Other. The Company offers textile and technical fibers for use in knitting, hand knitting, carpet, home textile and upholstery, toy/hi-pile, and UV resistant applications, as well as in technical applications in filtration media covering coal operated power generation, cement mills, waste incineration plants, etc. Aksa Akrilik also generates and sells electricity and steam; and engages in the rental of energy generation plants.
