Akrotome Imaging is a company dedicated to the clinical translation of cancer-targeted molecular probes into approaches for surgery and diagnostics. It develops fluorescent molecular probe technologies that “light up” cancer, enabling clear and precise visualization of tumors, with emphasis on tumor margins. Akrotome Imaging's FIRE probes are in the clinical translation process for the intraoperative assessment of tumor margins for breast cancer and non-melanoma skin cancer.
