In the early '60s, Weight Watchers founder Jean Nidetch began inviting friends into her Queens, NY home once a week to talk about how best to lose weight. Today, that group of friends has grown to millions of people around the world who’ve joined Weight Watchers to lose weight and lead healthier lives.
Our approach is built on four pillars that have the greatest impact on success. Our philosophy is that a person should:
▪ Learn to eat more healthfully
▪ Increase physical activity
▪ Learn to create and live in a supportive environment conducive to achieving a healthy weight
▪ Manage the challenges involved in changing behaviors
Weight Watchers doesn’t teach you how to diet. We are dedicated to inspiring and helping you adopt a healthier way to live. For life.
