Founded by PhDs trained in management and marketing survey assessments, as technology outsiders, we were frustrated by the lack of technology automation that existed to support survey assessments and the reporting of results.
Upon closer inspection, we found impressive technology–beautiful charts, tables, and interactive dashboards–but this technology was not based upon an underlying science of assessments or decision making that guided technology development.
Believing we could do technology better, our fundamental advantage was that we designed our software based upon assessment and decision-making science. Dr. Glibkowski, our Management professor co-founder, published research1 that held that any effective decision involved asking and answering six questions: what, why, how, who, when, and where. The sixQ Management framework and software were born. SixQ is a software solution that asks and answers each of the six questions associated with decision-making.
