As large corporations evolve and adapt to these massive new requests, something is becoming quite clear: these requests (or demands) are actually a massive improvement in how these giants operate.

The thing is, every one of these changes is actually an improvement in the flexibility, responsiveness, and ability of these organizations to balance the needs of various stakeholders, crucially including their employees.

Millennials seized a once in a millennium shift in the world, driven by an explosion of consumer technology (cloud, smartphone, etc.), and demanded that organizations get with it.

Sick of watching their Gen X parents burnout, suffer awful health deterioration in dogged pursuit of promotions and a gold watch, Gen Y has said there’s a better way to do it, and it’s the only way we’re going to work.
