At Raise.me, we're expanding access to higher education so that every student has a shot at the American Dream. How? Good question! Every year, billions of dollars in scholarships and grants are given out to high school seniors after they've been accepted into college. For a lot of students, that's too late to impact their college ambitions or choices. And it got us thinking... what if instead of waiting until the very end of high school, we made it possible for students to earn that scholarship money from colleges throughout high school - starting as early as 9th grade - based on their individual progress and achievements? Well, that's what happens on Raise.me. Got an A? Earn scholarship money. Joined a team or a club? Earn scholarship money. Volunteered in your community? You get the picture. And while all that earning is great, it's not even the best part. The best part is that through our micro-scholarships, Raise.me is actually motivating students to do better in high school and prepare better for college. No matter where they're from or where they live or what their parents do, students have us in their corner, bringing new clarity to the cost of college and all the steps they need to take to succeed at college. Over the past few years, we've been fortunate to have some great partners, from all the teachers and counselors who are signing students up to all the colleges and universities who are offering micro-scholarships. But we're always looking for more!
