Oil 4 Wales is aiming to become the brand of Wales and is on course to turnover £40-50m in its first year through the provision of all petroleum products to domestic, commercial and agricultural customers throughout Wales.
Oil 4 Wales is also in the process of establishing a chain of retail garages and to date has signed five year supply deals with 11 petrol stations across south Wales with a view to expanding into mid and north Wales in the coming months to make it a truly national retail brand.
As well as supplying homes, businesses and agricultural premises, Oil 4 Wales services include interest free budget accounts, planned deliveries, fuel cards and Harlequin oil tanks.
Managing Director Colin has an established history in the oil industry having initially founded Owen Fuels in 1991 with the support of major shareholder O J Williams before building it into the largest oil company in Wales and selling it at its peak, with turnover at £350m, to Texaco Ltd in 1997.
When we established Oil 4 Wales, we wanted to create a Welsh oil brand. We are hopeful that our new brand, with its emphasis on giving a good deal to the communities of Wales, will be well received.
As major oil companies pull out of downstream supply, it leaves the door open for independents like us to get a share of the marketplace in Wales. We believe that Colin's experience of the oil industry will stand us in good stead for the challenges ahead and we are confident that Oil 4 Wales has all the components necessary for success.
