Dell Technologies (formerly known as Denali Holding) is a technology company providing IT hardware, software, and services. It operates in three segments: Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), Client Solutions Group (CSG), and VMware. The ISG segment offers traditional and next-generation storage solutions such as arrays, scale-out files, object platforms, and software-defined solutions, as well as server solutions including high-performance rack, blade, tower, and hyper-scale servers. The CSG segment includes branded hardware such as desktops, workstations, and notebooks, branded peripherals such as displays and projectors, as well as third-party software and peripherals. The VMware segment specializes in the areas of hybrid and multi-cloud applications, networking, security, and digital workspaces. Dell Technologies was formed as a result of a merger between Dell and EMC Corporation.
