day100 started with an inspiration. While managing recruiting at past companies, we first-handedly experienced the difficulties of differentiating between candidates during the screening process. How do you decide who would be the best fit based on a piece of paper where the candidates are almost required to overstate their accomplishments? More than that, resumes and even interviews were giving us the “day 1” image of the candidate: the perfect, polished version. How can you instead get a feel of the typical candidate’s performance: a view of their “day 100” fit with the position and the company?
Our answer to this important question is references. Using them has made us able to identify the best candidates more effectively, and have a richer and more trusting interview process with them. With day100, we help employers do the same.
We are driven by our core values of trust, open communication and continually striving to learn and grow.
