Coil started business in 1972 and now has four continuous anodising lines in Landen, Belgium and one continuous anodising line in Bernburg, Germany. The total installed capacity is currently 50 000 tonnes. The Company will complete a new 15 000 tonne line in Germany by late 2013.

Coil has an exceptional dimensional capacity permitting anodising of metal with gauges from 0.3mm to 3.5mm (0.012” to 0.138”), widths up to 2 200mm (88.00”) and anodic film thicknesses from flash anodising (< 1 micron) up to 25 microns (0.000039” up to 0.0001”). Coil is also uniquely able to offer anodising and coating on the same production line.
For the European distribution market, Coil provides its anodising services on a tolling or subcontracting basis to the major European aluminium flat rolled products manufacturers.
For the architectural project business in Europe and for all types of business outside Europe, Coil supplies anodised coils or sheets to the customer’s specifications.
