Cipan

Cipan is a unique company in the Portuguese industrial landscape with an outstanding evolution in a country without any tradition in the areas of industrial microbiology and antibiotics production at the time of its inception in 1963. Cipan established itself very early as well as a technology provider with the design and construction of industrial API’s plants in several points of the globe. Cipan is still today the only API’s producer in Portugal using biologic processes (i.e. fermentation) which provides Cipan with an edge should it decides to enter into the biosimilars business.
