Asset Mapping

OverviewSuggest Edit

Asset Mapping integrates Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and operational management to create more efficient, responsive, intelligent buildings. The engine combines real-time asset location and status data with historical equipment records to create a set of insightful actions that enable equipment issues to be addressed faster and at a lower cost. Asset Mapping is unique in that it is a fully scalable, open platform that integrates and connects other building automation systems (BAS), legacy equipment, sensors and cloud resources. Our platform outputs are exported to any data format. Customised user-screens are easily built on online maps or other Graphical User Interfaces (GUI). With Asset Mapping, building owners, managers and service engineers can monitor assets directly from their phones or tablets via user roles and permissions. Integration with existing service management applications is also supported. Asset Mapping was created in 2012 based on a pilot design tested during the construction of the London Olympic Park. A professional understanding of Building Management, combined with recognized experts in IoT and industrial automation, has led to both satisfied customers and a string of technology awards including CityVerve and Project aSSURE. Asset Mapping has close partnerships with Cisco, Intel and SAP for product development that has led to advanced features like fully encrypted data. We also act as Smart Cities´ leaders in the development of HyperCAT, a key open source protocol developed specifically for IoT systems. Asset Mapping is the game changing innovation for the facilities management industry, as it brings together individual initiatives to increase the overall effectiveness of asset management. Whether reducing energy cost, managing lighting, or any other operational inefficiencies, introducing real-time intelligence across the whole building takes cost and efficiency to new levels.
